Have you ever been trying to focus and you keep getting distracted? Well I have some hacks for you to try.
-
Turn towards a wall that is not visually complex.
-
Use noise-canceling headphones so that you are not distracted by talking or other noise.
-
I make sure I don’t touch anything really fuzzy because I know that I am easily distracted by things that are fuzzy (instead, I make sure to only touch things that I need to feel to be able to do my work).
-
I make sure that I am not eating while I am working, because if I am I will focus on eating instead of doing my work.
-
If someone is baking something I make sure to be working away from the smell of the food, because I will get distracted by it if I do not get away from it.
Those are just some of the strategies I use, but I am always open to new ideas.
